醉魂酥骨zuì hún sū gǔ

形容舒服得使人陶醉：宝玉总未听见这些话，只闻得一股幽香，却是从黛玉袖中发出，闻之令人～。(十九·429)

醉魂酥骨zuì hún sū gǔ

intoxicate the senses and cause one to feel rather limp; be intoxicated as if the marrow of one’s bones has melted
❍ 宝玉总没听见这些话，只闻见一股幽香，却是从黛玉袖中发出，闻之令人～。(《红楼梦》225) ❶Baoyu was not listening,how ever,so intent was he on the fragrance emanating from Daiyu’s sleeve,which he found intoxicating—it seemed to melt the marrow of his bones.
❷But her words were lost on Baoyu. He was preoccupied with a subtle fragrance which seemed to emanate from Daiyu’s sleeve—a fragrance that intoxicated the senses and caused one to feel rather limp.
