蔓草难除

蔓生的草难以彻底铲除。比喻恶势力难于消灭。蔓草：蔓延生长的草。

蔓草难除màn cǎo nán chú

❍ 不如早为之所，无使滋蔓，蔓难图也。蔓草犹不可除，况君之宠弟乎？(《左传·隐元年》) You had better take the necessary precautions,and not allow the danger to grow so great that it will be difficult to deal with it. Even grass,when it has grown and spread all about,cannot be removed: —how much less the brother as well!

〔主谓〕 蔓延生长的草难以彻底铲除。比喻恶势力一经滋长，就难以消灭。语本《左传·隐公元年》：“不如早为之所，无使滋蔓，蔓，难图也。蔓草犹不可除，况君之宠弟乎？”[例]这种不正之风的出现可不能忽视，得赶快纠正，否则发展下去～，问题就大了。
