系由放线菌Actinomyces subtropicus产生的含铁的-种抗生素，有α，β，γ，δ₁，δ₂，∈，δ₁，δ₂六种成分为主要成分，δ₂是不稳定、高活性的阿波霉素A₁，其他成分为其降解物。

Iron-containing antibiotic produced by Actinomyces subtropicus．Consists of six components，α，β，γ， δ₁，δ₂，∈，of which δ₁and δ₂ are the main components．δ₂ is the unstable highly active albomycin A₁，the other components are its degradation products．

抗生素类药。治疗婴儿肺炎、痢疾、脑膜炎以及肺、喉部的并发症等。

白霉素，白霉素硫酸盐(作为硫酸盐)，阿波霉素硫酸盐。
