人经过必留踪迹。曲波《林海雪原》四：“常言道：‘人过留踪，雁过留声。’难道匪徒走过的地方什么也不留？”

踪：行踪，痕迹。指人走过的地方总会留下痕迹。

❍ 常言道： “～”。难道匪徒在走过的地方什么也不留？没那事？(曲波《林海雪原》55) As the old saying goes，“When a wild-goose passes,it trails its sound behind; when a man passes,he leaves his footprints.” You mean tosay the bandits could have gone through here without leaving a trace? I don’t belive it.
