Shanghai Spirit
上海合作组织宗旨和原则的集中体现是“～”，即“互信、互利、平等、协商、尊重多样文明、谋求共同发展”。“～”已写入《上海合作组织成立宣言》。The purpose and principles of SCO are reflected in the “Shanghai Spirit”，namely，“mutual trust,mutual benefit,equality,consultation,respect for diverse civilizations and pursuit of common development”.The “Shanghai Spirit” is incorporated into the Declaration on the Establishment of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
