遵时养晦

谓隐蔽以待时机。 梁启超《志士箴言》： “遂不惜屈心抑志，遵时养晦，以待天日重见，风云复会，而留身命以有待耳。”

遵时养晦遵养时晦zūn shí yǎng huì

retire from public affairs and wait for one’s opportunity
