形态与组分 正二十面体，直径25～30纳米。粒子沉降系数97S。
生物学特性 系统感染菊(Chrysanthemum)，无症状或有微小斑点，随品种不同，花变小、褪色或有斑驳；番茄(Lycopersicon esculentum)、烟草(Nicotiana tobacum)、心叶烟(N．glutinosa)和矮牵牛(Petunia hybrida，均为花叶；筒蒿(Chrysanthemum coronarium)，无症状。局部感染苋色藜(Chenopodium amaranticolor)豇豆(Vignasinensis)、番杏(Tetragonia expansa)、蚕豆(Vicia faba)和曼陀罗(Datura stramonium)，均为坏死斑。病毒致死温度50～56℃。其介体为桃蚜(Myzus persicae)。它是Tomato aspermy virus的一个毒株，与Cucumber mosaic virus无血清学关系。
