（惯）形容虽然相距很近，互相却并不往来。

鸡鸣狗叫的声音互相都能听见，但直到老死彼此之间也不交往。语本《老子》一八：“鸡犬之声相闻，民至老死不相往来。”形容人与人之间不沟通、不协作。
