鸟之将死，其鸣也哀

飞鸟在快要死亡的时候，鸣叫的声音也益加哀伤。借物喻人。《论语·泰伯》： “曾子有疾，孟敬之问之。曾子言曰： ‘鸟之将死，其鸣也哀；人之将死，其言也善’。”

鸟之将死，其鸣也哀niǎo zhī jiāng sǐ , qí míng yě āi

birds cry plaintively before they die; when a bird is about to die,its notes a r e ’mournful
