图穷匕首见

见： 今作“现”，露出。比喻在事情的最后阶段，真相或本意显露出来。

图穷匕见（图穷匕首见）

指荆轲为了刺杀秦王，假意向秦王献地图，当地图完全展开时，藏在图中的匕首就露了出来。后用以比喻事情发展到最后阶段，真相就暴露出来。‖“见”读xiàn，不读jiàn。

图穷匕首见

语出汉代刘向《战国策·燕策三》。刺客荆轲带着燕国地图，以献给秦王之名进入秦宫，秦始皇打开地图，地图展完了，藏在地图中用来刺杀秦王的匕首也就露出来了。现多用此语比喻事情发展到最后阶段，真象或本意就完全暴露出来。

释义 图：地图。穷：尽。见xiàn:现。
出处 《战国策·燕策三》：荆轲奉燕太子之命去刺秦王，以献燕国督亢的地图为名，把匕首卷在图内。献图时，地图展到最后，露出匕首，荆轲拿起匕首就要刺秦王。
