各人自扫门前雪，莫管他人瓦上霜

谓自己管自己的事，不管他人的事。元·高则诚《琵琶记》第三十出： “相公，夫妻何事苦相仿，莫把闲愁积寸肠；难道各人自扫门前雪，莫管他家瓦上霜。”元·高文秀《襄阳会》第一折：“各家自扫门前雪，莫管他家瓦上霜。”鲁迅《南腔北调集·谚语》： “粗略一想，谚语固然好像一时代一国民的思想结晶，但其实，却不过是一部分的人们的意思。现在就以 ‘各人自扫门前雪，莫管他人瓦上霜’ 来做例子罢。这乃是被压迫者们的格言，教人要奉公，纳税，输捐，安分，不可怠慢，不可不平，尤其是不要管闲事； 而压迫者是不算在内的。”
