二十五史èr shí wǔ shǐ

二十四史与《新元史》的合称。1958年《新知识词典》：“1921年柯绍忞著成《新元史》，才有了《二十五史》之名。”

二十五史

纪传体史书总称之一。1921年北洋政府大总统徐世昌下令，将近人柯劭忞所撰《新元史》二百五十七卷列入正史，与二十四史合为二十五史，遂有此称。
