Then Moab rebelled against Israel after the deaht of Ahab.

And Ahaziah fell down through a lattice in his upper chamber that was in Samaria, and was sick: and he sent messengers, and said unto them. Go. inquire of Baal-7ebub the god of Ekron whether I shall recover of this disease.

But the angel of the Lord said to Elijah the Tishbite. Arise, go up to meet the messengers of the king of Samaria, and say unto them, Is it not because there is not a God in Israel, that ye go to inquire of Baal-zebub the god of Ekron?

Now therefore thus saith the Lord, Thou shalt not come down from that bed on which thou art gone up. but shalt surely die. And Elijah departed.

亚哈死后，摩押背叛以色列。

亚哈谢在撒玛利亚，一日从楼上的栏杆里掉下来，就病了。于是差遣使者说：“你们去问以革伦的神巴力西卜，我这病能好不能好?”

但耶和华的使者对提斯比人以利亚说：“你起来，去迎著撒玛利亚王的使者，对他们说，“你们去问以革伦神巴力西卜，岂因以色列中没有神么?”

所以耶和华如此说：“你为不下你所上的床，必定要死’。”以利亚就去了。
