生物学特性 自然寄主为假酸浆(Nicandra physaloides)、灯笼果(Phy salis peruviana)、龙葵(Solanum nigrum)、番茄(Lycopersicum esculentum)和一种辣椒(Capsicum baccatum var，Pendulum)，引起斑驳、皱叶、系统坏死和弯曲。桃蚜(Myzus persicae)传播。致死温度55～60℃，稀释终点10－5～10－6。与Potato virus Y，Tobacco etch virus和Pepper mosaic virus有血清学关系。
分类 马铃薯Y病毒群(Potyvirus)。
分布 秘鲁。
